ZENOBIA HUSSEY
Social Work Intern
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Zenobia brings a culturally grounded and community-informed perspective to her work, which is shaped by lived experience and a deep understanding of the diverse realities within urban communities.
Zenobia is dedicated to supporting individuals and families through a compassionate, culturally responsive, and strengths-based approach that centers dignity, empowerment, and holistic care. Zenobia is deeply committed to supporting BIPOC communities, understanding that systemic inequities and structural barriers impact mental health, family stability, and access to care.
With a passion for promoting child and family well-being, Zenobia creates safe, affirming spaces where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Through active listening, collaboration, and advocacy, Zenobia partners with clients to navigate challenges such as trauma, family stress, and barriers to accessing resources.
Zenobia is a social work intern currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) at Howard University. As an emerging social work professional, Zenobia is committed to ethical practice, continuous learning, and advancing equity within the field. Zenobia strives to empower BIPOC individuals and families, strengthen resilience, and support meaningful, lasting change across communities.
