CINAMON BLAIR
Cinamon is a descendant of the Aniyunwiya, Chickahominy, and Choctaw Nations, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY on Canarsie and Munsee Lenape Land. For more than 40 years, she has cultivated her creative expression as a singer, songwriter, and musician. Music has long been both her compass and her medicine: a source of grounding, harmony, and connection. Whether through vocalizing, improvisation, or crafting harmonies, she uses music to self-soothe, build community, educate, and activate myself and others into the experiences that are ready to emerge.

Long before she understood the academic or clinical terminology, Cinamon intuitively used Music Therapy practices to deepen self-reflection and cultivate communal bonds. Creativity and collaboration are central to who she is. She is committed to fostering understanding, belonging, and appreciation for our shared Human and Cultural Capital. Whether working with client partners or internal teams, she strives to identify and amplify what is already working well and explore how those strengths can be woven across all aspects of our collective work.

Her professional path is guided by empathy, systems awareness, sustainable collaboration, and a holistic approach to human connection.
She holds a BA from Hampshire College in Music Theory and Adolescent Psychology and an MA from Lesley University in Expressive Therapies, with a specialization in Music Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. Across her personal, creative, and professional life, she remains committed to growth, cultural stewardship, and using the power of music and reflection to uplift individuals and communities.
If you would like to take the next step to see if Cinamon would be an appropriate fit, please contact her to schedule a brief 15-20 minute consultation.
